I'm bored to tears with these kids. But let's be real
-- the Idol machine helps them pick and prepare the songs. So who's to blame when Amy piles her hair on her head and tries to be Connie Francis?? I grew up in the 60's and even *I* don't want to sing that music anymore! Although the Beatles will always rule, these songs make everyone tank.

- Josh Gracin’s newest single “We Weren’t Crazy” was selected as one of People magazine's "Best New Singles" for the week. Music critic Chuck Arnold gives the song three out of four stars and calls it a "country-pop charmer, riding on a buoyant chorus and a feel-good story about love beating the odds." "We Weren't Crazy" was written by Gracin, Bobby Pinson and Tony Lopacinski and is the lead single from his upcoming sophomore album.
- Early happy birthday wishes go out to American Idol finalist and Lyric Street recording artist Phil Stacey who will celebrate his 30th birthday on January 21st. Phil is in Los Angeles this week for his album and publicity photo shoot before he heads to Memphis on Thursday to visit the children at St. Jude and participate in the hospital's Country Cares For Kids seminar.
- This is one time when it's not good to be Bucky...shortly after the New Year, Bucky Covington and his twin brother Rocky took some time off for a relaxing camping trip in Kentucky. While cooking breakfast one morning, grease from the hot pan splashed back and burnt his right hand. He's been wearing a bandage over the wound and should be healed in time to play guitar when he takes the stage next weekend in York, PA. In the meantime, look for Bucky discussing his love of motocross in the pages of Racer X and Dirt Rider magazines as his current single "It's Good To Be Us" climbs the country radio charts.
