JONES TALKIN’ with Anthony Fedorov

FROM THE FANS!!!
YOU WANTED TO KNOW SO HERE WE GO!!!

FEDDY PERFORMING LIVE!!

Anthony, what time were you born?
*Summer*

“Oh gosh I have no idea! I could call my mom right now and find out! Sorry!”

What would you like the title of your first CD to be?
*Krista*

“Wow…I haven’t really thought about it, but hmmmm...it would have to be a title that would deal with me spiritually.”

How was that balloon ride in Binghamton? I was there, and I saw the video of the balloon ride and I just wanted to know what the ride was like!
*Krista*

“The ride was very adventurous! We actually had a wonderful time on the balloon ride. My friends got a bit of a scare because they ran out of fuel while they were still 500 feet in the air! They were dropping down and landed in the forest – in the trees! It was a little less adventurous for me than for my friends. I was trying to hide the fact that I was scared, but the higher the balloon went, the lower I went to the floor!”

How did you choose songs for your CD?
*Margo*

“Well, it’s actually a pretty long process and we’re not done yet. We have a lot more to go and I don’t know exactly if the songs I have now if they’re actually going to make the record. It’s a long grinding process because you want to put together a great album, hopefully a multi-platinum selling album, and you just go through hundreds and hundreds of songs. And, I haven’t gone through hundreds and hundreds of songs yet, but I have gone through quite a few to pick out a couple of hopeful ones for now.”

What type of warm-ups do you do before performing?
*Margo*

“Well, I have a 1⁄2 hour warm-up that my vocal teacher has given me. I get up every morning between 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and I do this warm up in order for my voice to be good for the rest of the day. I do this everyday before I perform.”

Anthony, did you write any material for your upcoming album?
*Nuzi*

“Actually, I co-wrote a couple of songs with my guitar player who was with me on tour last year. I don’t know if they’re going to make the record, but these songs are strong and we’re definitely going to fight for them. So we shall see!”

How many original, English-language songs are you going to have on your album?
*Inna*

“All the songs will be original material in English either written by outside writers or myself and I may do a cover song - that is still yet to be determined.  It’s going to be a mostly English speaking album and maybe put one or two Spanish tracks as bonus tracks (hopefully).”

You sing in Italian too, yes?
*Mrs. Jones*

“Yes…actually I do!”

Do you still keep in touch with past Idols? If so, who?
*Andrea*

“I keep in touch pretty much with everybody. I talk to Carrie most of the time. We talk quite a bit.”

I know you’re both huge animal lovers. Did that bring you together?
*Mrs. Jones*

“Actually, no. Carrie and I first bonded because our personalities connected. Carrie – she’s a great girl and we started hanging out. The less people that were on the show, the more we just bonded and hung out.”

What was your experience like on Fear Factor?!
*Andrea*

“That was fun! I had a great time on Fear Factor! But you know what? I have to be honest…I was more pissed off losing on Fear Factor than losing on Idol. We had a chance – it was in our hands! We saw what the first couple did wrong. We screwed it up! We were one stinking bean bag away from winning $150,000.”

That ice chest messed you up, too!
*Mrs. Jones*

“I almost got hypothermia from that ice chest! They edited a lot of things out – I was cussing all over the place - I was in hell with that!”

You sure handled the car slamming!
*Mrs. Jones*

“Oh yeah! I wish they would have showed more of that because for 20 minutes I was driving in reverse backwards and knocked everybody out! They only showed a little bit of that!”

You definitely can drive though, Feddy!
*Mrs. Jones*

“Well man, hey…I’m from NY!!”

Would you do it again?
*Andrea*

“Oh absolutely! I would do it in a heartbeat!”

When are you going to take that trip to Africa that you won on Fear Factor?
*Inna*

“Ohhhh, I don’t know! Maybe sometime in January, possibly. I’m not quite sure yet.”

How many people get to go?
*Mrs. Jones*

“Two.”

Who gets to go – your best friend?
*Mrs. Jones*

(laughter) “You hit it right on the money – I’m taking my best friend!”

Anthony, have you considered doing European tours, considering your Ukrainian background?
*Nonna*

“Oh absolutely! When my career takes off and when I start to get successful with my first album, the possibilities are endless. I am from Europe and my biggest dream is to tour and go back to my home country and do an 8 or 9 city tour and make an impact there. I would love to go to France and Italy and travel all over Latin America. So yes…absolutely. We’ve considered all of that and it’s in the works. I can sing in Spanish, Italian, and my home language. Definitely one day it will be a huge event and a dream come true.”

What is the most interesting gift you have ever received?
*Alice*

“Oh!!! My fans from the board know I am a HUGE Yankee fan and they got me one home jersey and one away jersey for the Yanks and they also got a Yankee jacket. But the brilliance of those jerseys was they put my last name on them with 04 – season four. I love these jerseys!"

Holy Cow! That’s a serious gift, Feddy!
*Mrs. Jones*

(laughter) “If you want to score points with me, just give me a tee-shirt that says something negative about the Red Sox and something good about the Yankees!”

How do you like living and working in Los Angeles?
*Alice*

“I love the weather here as far as living goes. It’s a little bit tough when it comes to people because everybody is trying to do their own thing. If you don’t know anybody here, it can be a little tough. I have my management company and I have a couple of friends that I hang out with once in a while. That’s good enough for me.  I hate the fake scene.  I went out a couple of times, but it's not for me.  As far as working in L.A., I love it! It’s the place to be if you want to succeed – especially in music!"

So the future Mrs. Fedorov is probably NOT in L.A.?
*Mrs. Jones*

(laughter) “Uhhhhh probably NOT!!!”

Who is your hero to you and why?
*Tiffany*

“My brother is my biggest hero to me right now. He’s going through cancer and he’s fighting it and doing a very good job of doing so. He’s got the strength and he’s got the will and he keeps me going everyday.”

If you could bring someone back from a previous time, who would it be and why?
*Tiffany*

“Hmmmm. Wow…..hmmmmm. I wouldn’t mind bringing back Elvis! I would have loved to have sat down with him and ask him how it felt to have such an extraordinary career.”

Do you wear a good luck charm while performing on stage?
*Carol*

“Actually, yes I do! Two things actually that I wear when I perform on stage...and I just received a third one recently! I have a key my bodyguard gave me when I was on the show – he’s a really good friend of mine. I also wear my best friend’s cross – he gave me a cross from his grandma for good luck. And recently one of the fans gave me a Japanese looking coin. The chain is made out of stones – it’s very cool.”

Have you gone back to the Ukraine since you moved back to the US?
*Tiffany*

“Yes I have! I went four years ago – I was 17. My brother and I took a “brother/brother” trip that we always wanted to do. We had a blast! I would love to go back soon. Once everything settles with the record and I know what my game plan is, I’d really love to go back and visit my uncle and his family and just chill out there for a week or two. That would be nice.”

If someone was to walk up to you and give you $1,000.000 in cash, how would you spend it?
*Tiffany*

“Well, first I would pay off all my brother’s medical bills. Second I would actually donate money towards animal rights. I love animals. I just do…”

Do you ever just sit down and think about your life through this whole journey?
*Brittany*

“Everyday. Everyday I sit down and I think about everything that has happened and everything that I’m hoping is going to happen and I thank God for everything that I’ve gotten up to this point. Two years ago I was just one of millions of people who were just simply trying to make it. Thanks to Idol I have gotten a tremendous head start. It’s just incredible how much your life can change.”
